宣布推出“啄木鳥舉報平臺”小程序，據介紹，“啄木鳥舉報平臺”將能夠為用戶提供字節跳動系產品內發生的疑似違法違規行為和信息舉報服務，除此之外，未來還會為用戶提供作弊手法解析、安全教育等多種服務，成為保障用戶合法權益的安全服務平臺。

目前該小程序已經在今日頭條平臺正式上線，支持字節跳動旗下今日頭條、西瓜視頻、抖音以及火山APP用戶提交舉報信息。如果用戶在使用字節跳動系產品時發現了違法違規行為或信息，可以在今日頭條上打開“啄木鳥舉報平臺”小程序，進入“啄木鳥舉報平臺”首頁，點擊“我要舉報”按鈕進行舉報。

“啄木鳥舉報平臺”支持被舉報的行為或信息類別非常豐富，目前已經覆蓋的類別有色情淫穢、網絡詐騙、非法販賣、網絡賭博、網絡傳銷、暴恐涉政等有害內容信息、賬號以及行為。

選擇舉報類別之后，針對對應的違法違規信息或行為類別，輸入“舉報人基本信息”和“舉報信息”。其中，“舉報人基本信息”是非必填項目，字節跳動官方表示，考慮到一些情形需要和當地公安進行聯合打擊，所以希望用戶在提交舉報信息時也可以提供一些信息。同時，字節跳動也表示，用戶可以不用擔心有風險，所有用戶信息都會被嚴格保密。
